Over half of all Soda Ash production is used in glass manufacturing, but it is also used in a wide range of other products, such as powdered detergents and soaps and rechargeable batteries, as well as being used extensively in metallurgical processes, and across the food, cosmetic and pharmaceutical industries.
Importantly, Soda Ash is increasingly being used to improve our environment and reduce polluting emissions by removing sulphur dioxide and other harmful chemicals from exhaust fumes in shipping and other industrial flue gas emissions.
Dense soda ash produced from trona at the Kazan Soda Elektirk plant is used in a wide range of industrial areas such as glass industry, paper production, and detergent production. Sodium Carbonate is a basic salt. Its aqueous solution is clear and colourless, and its chemical formula is Na2CO3
Areas of Usage: Glass, Chemical Industry, Soap and Detergent Industry, Paper Production, Flue Gas Treatment, Water and Wastewater Purification
Sodium Bicarbonate, also known as Sodium Hydrogen Carbonate, is a white chemical compound whose chemical formula is NaHCO3, and its aqueous solution is clear and colourless. Kazan Soda Elekrik produces 3 different types of Sodium Bicarbonate, namely, food, feed, and technical grade. Its food grade form is used as additive in food industry. Its feed grade form is used in animal feed industry. Finally, technical grade Sodium Bicarbonate is produced for use in areas such as flue gas treatment, textile, detergent, and water and wastewater treatment.
Areas of Usage: Baking, Powder, Food Additive, Drinks, Tooth Paste, Animal Feed, Chemical Industry, Cleaning Materials, Paper Production, Leather Industry, Textile Industry, Flue Gas Treatment, Water and Wastewater Treatment, Health / Hemodialysis
